About Us and where we are located
Welcome to the Ebonyshadow Siberian Huskies (Reg'd) website of Hal and Sandy Smith.
COME and SIT, we hope you can STAYfor
a little while. We are a small kennel in Water Valley, Alberta just 60
miles northwest ofCalgary, in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.
We
started showing dogs 16 years ago. We have had German Shepherds,
Rottweilers, and now Siberians. We searched for three years in order to
get the right girl as our foundation bitch. We received lots of
assistance in our search for our special girl, from breeders, judges
and very informed show people. We made our decision to puchase Kayla
from Beryl Ramey and Kim Ramey-Leblanc of Snowmist Kennels. Since
that time we are pleased to add that not only is she our breeder,
but also good friend. They have been very helpful to us
by sharing their vast knowledge of the breed. This has
enabled us to make the right choices to have a succesful breeding
program.
Our
aim is to produce sound animals which we can be proud of.
We believe in certification of hips and eyes, of our breeding
females. Also, any stud dog we use must have the same
certifications before he would be considered.
We do have
puppies available occasionally, to approved homes. We have many happy
owners of our puppies in many different parts of the world.
The club we are associated with is:Canadian Kennel Clubandwe have been associated with the Siberian Husky Club Of Canada and the Rottweiler Club Of Canada.
